A pioneer in the field of digital art in Austria

Markus Riebe integrates the computer into his artistic work since the early 1980s and was one of the first Austrian artists whose work was shown at renowned computer graphics festivals such as Siggraph Artshow in the USA and ISEA in Australia. Exhibitions followed in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Iran and Austria, including several times at Parallel Vienna, Art Austria, OÖ Kunstverein, OÖ Landesgalerie, Künstlerhaus Wien and Ars Electronica Festival 2015, 2017 and 2023.

 In 2015 he was awarded the 1st prize of the Anglo-Italian Academy of Arts Awards.
